A bar Z Outfitters was established in 1948 by adventurer and author, Dix Anderson and his partner Ted Zinkin. The business began as a horseback outfitting company in the same Dutch Creek territory that we operate in to this day. In 2014, we founded “A Bar Z Mountain Adventures” which focuses more on one hour horse tours and pony leads. Our goal is to give our guests the adventure of a lifetime- and leave them with a story they will never forget.
From beginner horse leads to a 10 day overnight trip, and everything in between, our dedicated wranglers and faithful horses do their very best to provide an experience customized just for you.
